Operations Consultant

Job Description:
Responsible for coordination of administrative function projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives of an operations nature. May consult with senior management to define and lead projects that encompass and impact many associates. May assist in designing, documenting, implementing, and monitoring of new products/services. Should have thorough understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work and engagement with teams. Clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures. Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred. Individual typically has 3-5 years of experience.
The primary focus the role within our team is supporting Accounts Payable, Consumer/Mortgage Tax and Unclaimed Properties (AP, CMT, UP) operations teams as well as acting as the liaison between the business and other partners.
Key priorities for our team are daily system production support, technology project support, systems related special projects, systems reporting, and general technology support for AP. Responsible for the day to day management of multiple deliverables, requests and administrative projects for the overall AP, CMT, UP operations team. Functions include: communications, compliance, employee engagement, executive and operational reporting.
Required Skills:
BA/BS Finance/Business or equivalent experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
Strong business partnering experience
Ability to communicate across and up the organization
Very detail-oriented
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change in a fast-paced team environment
Strong time management skills managing multiple key deliverables and prioritizing accordingly
Self driven

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
