Senior Operations Consultant

Job Description:
Responsible for the day-to-day analysis, research and resolution of varied problems. Functions include administering defined procedures, analysis and report generation, and exception processing. Coordinates the implementation of products/services and operational solutions. May assist in designing, documenting, implementing, and monitoring of new products/services. Provides guidance to associates within own unit regarding procedural, technical and/or operational changes. Incumbents have full working knowledge of operations environment acquired through experience in an operations environment and on the job training. Individuals typically have 2 to 4 years of experience.
The Payee Operations Team is part of the Corporate Accounts Payable organization. This role is focused on both Domestic and International Payee Operations. Responsible for the day to day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex transactions for the business unit, or units, including research. Coordinates the implementation of new products and or services, procedures, systems and or hardware solutions for problems in the operations environment. Works closely with Corporate Accounts Payables Project Team in relation to projects and initiatives impacting Payee Operations, with a focus on eVDM/Oracle. Assists manager in leading projects and alternatives to improve operational efficiency. Ability to use Microsoft Office to support reporting requirements. Must have strong technical skills used to validate large data files as well as the ability to create/execute scripts and escalating issues. Should have thorough understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work and on the job training. Must have at least 2 years of experience in leading projects.
Required Skills:
BA/BS Accounting/ Finance/Business or equivalent experience
Ability to lead projects and delegate tasks to assigned resources (end to end)
2 or more years of experience in leading projects
Strong technical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, with emphasis on advanced Excel skills
Strong business partnering experience
Ability to communicate across and up the organization
Desired Skills
SAP/ eLedger or Oracle Knowledge
Analytical Abilities/ Financial Acumen/ Problem Solving
Information Reporting - & Withholding/1099/W8 & W9 experience a plus
2-4 years experience in Accounts Payable environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
