Analysis and Reporting Specialist

The Analysis & Reporting Specialist will provide support across multiple business lines in a Banking Operations Department. The Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, administrative work for complex access management, development and review of internal procedures, risk management initiatives and tasks, continuous improvement, and project management support.
Primary responsibilities include:
Taking the lead on GRC risk issues including analysis and action plan completion
Participation in Root Cause Problem Solving sessions where minute taking and task follow up are required
Continuous improvement efforts
Gathering and reporting of statistical data
Metrics reporting including staffing model reviews
Procedure writing, process flow creation, and end to end process analysis
Interaction with Legal, Risk, and Compliance partners
Interaction with Senior Level Management and Business Partners
Required Skills/Experience:
5+ years of banking operations experience Strong Written and Communications Skills
Strong math and analytical skills
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficient
Ability to plan and prioritize workload
Ability to develop & sustain strong, positive working relationships with internal and external colleagues and business partners of all levels, including Executive and Senior Management
Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy
Ability to work a flexible schedule as required by priority projects
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Excel ? ability to create and update spreadsheets and graphs
Use MS Word for Technical Writing ? ability to create and modify operations procedures and communications that will include tables, graphs and screen shots
PowerPoint - ability to pull together/speak to a business line presentation
Project management experience
Familiar with various banking applications including mainframe and CMOD.
Educational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
5+ years of banking operations experience
Associate's / Bachelor's degree in business management, math, engineering, or like field
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per week: 40
Work Schedule: M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
