Temporary to Perm - A/R Specialist - Bi-Lingual Preferred!

East Side Clinical Laboratory is seeking a bi-lingual A/R Specialist for a Temp to Perm position in our Billing Department. Position available in late May or the beginning of June
Objective: To perform all aspects of third party billing, reconciliation's, deposits, telephones and financial reporting.
Duties ( denotes an essential job function):
1. Produces all third party billings daily, including electronic claim submission.
2. Posts daily mail, separating incoming mail by charge-to. Completes deposit slips. Creates batches and posting payments to accounts.
3. Completes weekly Medicare, Bluechip, and Bluecross settlements, run analytical reports and process denials.
4. Answers heavy volume phones and provide customer/employee assistance as needed, including changes in patient demographic information and corrections from branch labs.
5. Accepts cash payments from courier staff and process related paperwork.
6. Completes night deposit drops at the bank, and drop mail at the Post Office.
7.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
