The Sales Manager leads the team by providing guidance, training, and mentorship, setting quotas and goals, creating strategic plans, analyzing data, and building the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence Setting weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals based on teams' performance Ensure targets are delivered through weekly one-to-one meetings, quarterly and annual performance reviews Coach, and monitor the performance of Sales Representatives Recruit and train the Sales Team Provide consistent professional development to the Sales Team-meeting the needs of both the team as a whole and individual team members Build and promote, strong, lasting customer relationships Coordinate with the Marketing Department on lead generation Develop and manage rehash program/unsold leads Evaluating and reorganizing staff calendar on a daily/weekly basis to ensure that Sales Representatives are being utilized in the most effective capacity Present sales, revenue reports, and realistic forecasts to the leadership team Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status REQUIREMENTS Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets Committed to continuous eductaion through workshops, seminars, and conferencesDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence cedibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Strong business sense and industry expertise Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills Preferred experience in home remodeling industry This position overview and list of responsibilities are not intended to be all-inclusive.
