1ST BONUS SHORTLY AFTER HIRE 2ND BONUS 6 MONTHS FROM HIRE The Assistant Program Manager is responsible to the Program Manager for insuring program quality by overseeing employee implementation and documentation of activities relating to the individual needs of the Participant(s).
If you have an interest in nursing, psychology, education, or social work, this position will provide you with valuable experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent Current driver's license Adequate auto insurance coverage Safe driving record Must pass a criminal background check prior to employment Job Responsibilities Participates and supervises, as assigned, Direct Support Professionals in providing all aspects of direct Participant care as described in the Participant(s)' programs or need by said Participant(s) including:
Activities of daily living (ADL) Socialization including Participant(s) vacation(s) Communication skills Interpersonal relationships Self-preservation skills Transitioning into and out of the program(s) Transportation Leisure and recreational skills Cooking skills Medical appointments as directed Cleanliness of the house Handle all emergency situations as they arise Keep appropriate house and vehicle logs Keeps appropriate client records Any other documentation - as needed and/or assigned Assist the Program Manager with the on-going daily operation of the program Assume leadership when the Program Manager is absent Participate in on-going employee in-services, training and individualized house meetings (staff meetings) Observe that all Participant rights and other appropriate legistation are adhered to
